The Great White North

Being from the south, I never fully appreciated winter and shoveling like I do now. The winters here force us writers to hibernate in the studios to write and record. Around late March, we emerge out of that deep sleep, and start playing gigs out in public again. It really is helpful, because I sort of lack that discipline to force myself to work at it, especially when it's nice outside. Don't get me wrong, I still hate winter, but it has made me a better writer. Why do you think Stephen King has cranked out so much material since he lives in Maine?
